As an Arlington BID Business, you are entitled to some great benefits to help your business succeed.
Advertising – We’ve partnered with the Press Enterprise to offer a great advertising programs just for BID businesses! You can purchase a 2 x 2 business card size ad in our monthly Glossy Insert that is normally priced at $70 for only $35! Since you are a BID business, we pay the other $35 on your behalf. The glossy insert is delivered to PE subscribers (roughly 24,000 households) once a month. It’s a great piece for coupons and specials! Awnings – Awnings have recently been installed on storefronts along Magnolia Avenue, in a design that mirrors those in the historic mural. Crafted in colors popular in the 1940’s, these awnings add a bit of historic style to these businesses, not to mention shade, and feature the businesses’ street number on the face of the awning for easy visibility.
Citrus Label Signs
- anywhere from 4’ x 4 ‘ to 8 ‘ x 8’, these attractive and brightly colored labels are exact replicas of those used by packing houses of yesteryear. Nearly 40 labels have been installed on businesses throughout the BID and are manufactured and installed at no charge to BID businesses. We have a large catalogue of available labels to choose from.
Co-Op Website Grant – We’ve discovered that many of our BID businesses don’t have a website presence at all and so we’ve developed a grant program. The grant is worth $100 and to make things even better, we’ve selected a great company called Link-U Systems who has a website for $200! Physical Improvement Program (PIP) Grant – We’ve got another grant program that allows businesses to make exterior physical improvements to their business locations. The grant is up to 50% of the cost of the improvements up to $1,000. Some eligible improvements include painting, new signage, parking lot resurfacing, new windows, security camers, etc. For more information, contact us and we’ll tell you if your improvement is eligible.
